Why Visit?

I knew that Rilla and Jeremy were huge Harry Potter fans, so I thought it would be fun to visit the UK.

Edinburgh

We visited Edinburgh, where there was lots of inspiration for J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter.

London

London is a great city, and there are Harry Potter things to see, as well as the Warner Brother's Studio.

And we all had a really good time ...
Even if there was a Tube strike while we were in London.

What that meant

It just required a bit more walking and planning than usual in London, but in the end, not a really big issue.

September 2

I have been hearing some noise in the wall by the door on the porch for a while. I found the wasp nest entry above the gutter. I sprayed some wasp killer out the window, but it did not do anything. Chris and Amy put a ladder up and crawled on the roof to spray foam sealant on the holes.

I looked the next morning and they were still flying, so they will fill more of the area in the next few days.

Rilla and Jeremy flew into Worcester from Orlando and Carina picked them up. We went to HoneyGrow for supper.
