Flying to London first

Landed early after circling Heathrow Airport for about 20 minutes. Went to the Caffè Nero for breakfast and sat and talked.
To stretch our legs we walked outside for a bit, and then up to Departures. Turns out we needed Terminal 5. Back down the escalators and then walked down to the entrance for the Tube. The tickets were free to ride the tram to Terminal 5. You also can get the Elizabeth Line from here. Up to terminal 5. Waited a bit, then went through security. Lunch was at Pret. Then to our gate and boarded. The weather was a bit bumpy up towards Edinburgh so the plane parked for about half an hour after leaving the gate. We landed in Edinburgh Airport. Took the tram to Princes Street.
We went into our Destiny Scotland Apartments, and pushed the door! In we went. Met up with Rilla and Jeremy and went to the Twenty Princes Street for a lovely dinner. Walked back to the M&S to pick up breakfast. Showered and went to bed.
